Summer 2024 Kindness Camp
Join us for a fun-filled week of spreading kindness and finding/learning new ways to be KIND LIFE encouragers! Campers are entering Kindergarteners - 5th graders. Volunteer Camp Leaders are entering 6th - 12th graders.
Summer Kindness Camp Volunteer Leader SIGN-UPS
This is where you sign up to be a Volunteer Leader for Summer Kindness Club!! It will be an amazing time to lead and learn more about spreading Kindness! We have limited space of 20 leaders (ages entering 9th graders up to adults) so sign up ASAP. Kindness Camp will be held at Fellowship of the Parks in Grapevine, Texas. Monday July 24-Friday July 28 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Bring a sack lunch each day and let’s have a blast!
Kindness Cup Virtual Event
Do you ever find yourself run down, feeling tired and maybe just going through the motions?? You want to be ALL-IN, and do as much as you can for a good cause, or just being all you can be for your family and friends. However, you just do not know how you are going to accomplish it all. Or you are just doing the best you can, but know there is more and you could do better. Take a deep breath!! You are not alone. We ALL have a lot going on, and even when we don’t, there are times we truly believe we could be doing better or doing more. When was the last time you took INTENTIONAL time for yourself? Do you want to learn more about ways to recharge, refill, and spread KINDNESS to yourself FIRST?? That is exactly what we are going to do for this virtual event: Kindness Cup!
You cannot pour out from an empty cup, and often times that’s what we have. Will you take this opportunity to invest in yourself so you have more and better to invest in others? Let’s do it!
DISCOVER AMERICA - Virtual Summer Camp June 29- July 3
This camp will be a time of learning, celebrating and reminding campers of some history of our country - how America was established and the meaning behind July 4th! As in all camps, it will be a week long - maximum of 1 hour per day via free online platform. We will have so much fun with crafts and snack making as well as virtual field trips! We will have a visit from a history teacher as well as hearing from a U.S. Veteran. Don’t miss this!! Sign Up now to reserve your spot! We will send more info after you have signed up. TRAVEL- Virtual Summer Camp June 15 - June 19 2020
Join us for a week long VIRTUAL camp where we will experience new cultures, languages, foods, facts, and virtual excursions. This camp is for all ages, but will specifically be geared towards ages 3 to high school age (with the help of parents for a few of the activities.) There will be various activities on each age level. We will have an exciting visit from a Travel Agent one day who will share expert information on traveling. We will go on virtual field trips, make new food, encourage an act of kindness and much more. Sign up NOW! We will send more info once you sign up below! OVERVIEW - Virtual Summer Camps 2020
What in the world do we do with our kids now?!? School is almost out and some of us would still like to keep our kids away from big crowds, but have fun and (let's be honest) stay engaged in something other than electronic devices/games. Living That Kind Life has decided to offer VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMPS as a FUNdraiser for our nonprofit and a FUN opportunity for the community.
Each THEMED 5 day camp will be 45 mins to an hour in duration each day and will include:
1. Special guest appearances from experts, teachers, or tour guides and some live Q & A time.
2. Themed teaching/activities
3. Easy crafts (materials not included)
4. Easy snacks or dessert making (materials not included)
5. An encouraged act of kindness
6. Will partner with and benefit local businesses/schools/attractions.
7. Any donation amount will reserve a spot. The reserved spot is for the week and will cover an entire family/household!

Connections & Kindness Initiative
Humans are made for connection and relationship. Sometimes it’s hard to find that connection. The need for this initiative came during the Covid-19 Pandemic. There is a real need for our friends at nursing homes to connect with people outside of the home. However, that is difficult when the facilities are closed to the public. So - Living That Kind Life started a partnership with local nursing homes and then found volunteers to make calls and connections via Facetime, Skype, etc. If you have interest in joining - please let us know: info@livingthatkindlife.com Call times are usually Mondays & Fridays between 1:00 and 4:00 pm. Calls last no longer than 30 minutes and we provide Best Practices and Conversation Topics when you sign up below!
